Corporate/Commercial Senior Associate/Partner

A well-established, commercially focused Yorkshire Law Firm requires a technically skilled Corporate/Commercial Senior Associate or Partner to join their growing department in Leeds. You must have considerable experience working in a similar corporate and/or commercial department and must be able to demonstrate the ability to bring or easily develop work.

Our client has offices across the Yorkshire region, a standout reputation and works with an enviable client base. They have recently seen an influx of good quality corporate/commercial work and so are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with some of the excess work whilst also developing their own caseload.

The department works with a fantastic client base, covering leading businesses and individuals in the Yorkshire region as well as transactions for clients across the country.

The type of work the department handles includes drafting and negotiating a wide range of corporate documents including share and asset purchase sale agreements, shareholder agreements, articles of association as well as general commercial documents. The exciting factor about this position is the fact that the firm is really open to the role being moulded to the successful candidates experience and the work they handle and want to develop.

The firm is ideally looking for candidates with at least 8 years PQE, although candidates that fall outside of this bracket will still be considered. You must be very commercially focused and have a strong aptitude for this kind of work. Our client is looking for someone who can be flexible and occasionally travel to their other offices in the region.
