PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR - CHORLEY

Private Client Solicitor / Associate / Senior Associate - This is in an incredibly exciting role within an expanding legal practice of around 20 staff in Chorley. The firm is looking for a private client solicitor of around 3 PQE or above to come in and help grow the private client practice area with a view to being progressed to Head of Department.

• Previous Experience: Candidates should be able to demonstrate at least 3 years PQE with particular experience in wills, probate and estate planning. You should be confident dealing with clients and also keen to business develop.

This firm is a highly successful Lancashire practice with an established presence in the Chorley market and surrounding areas. This particular hire represents a key strategic decision to grow the firm's offering and provide private client legal services to the firm's existing client base.

The firm already has a highly experienced private client lawyer and the successful candidate will initially work with them to grow the practice area further. However, it is intended that the successful applicant will progress swiftly to be the overall head of the department within a relatively short space of time and work directly with the managing partner as the department continues to develop.

KEY QUALITIES

Candidates must display technical ability as well as business development skills. This is key as the role is not simply a fee earning opportunity. The partnership seeks someone who ideally already has a solid network in the local market and is looking for a platform to grow something of their own.

SALARY PACKAGE

The basic salary on offer for this role is £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. The aim is to build a package around the candidate which will reward them with an excellent incentive to grow and develop the private client practice going forward.
