This national firm has a strategic need for a real estate partner to move into a head of department role. The office has an excellent group of partners who are ambitious and keen to hire a real estate partner who can help them take the office to the next level.

This national firm has grown in a measured way in Manchester, hiring an excellent group of partners across commercial disciplines. The next key hire in Manchester is in real estate. Across a network of offices the real estate team advises on all aspects of real estate, from acquisition and development through to asset management and disposal. They also offer expert advice in relation to large regeneration schemes and act for developers in respect of site acquisitions, development agreements and conditional contracts. The client base is extensive, including investors, retailers, commercial developers, registered providers and national housebuilders, with specialist lawyers working closely with each client to understand their needs. With clients both nationally and in the North West, there is a huge opportunity for a real estate partner to move into the Manchester office and be provided with internal referrals and a direct lead into established clients. Specialists across property litigation, planning and construction only add to the national network and strength of the team around you.

The Manchester office has an excellent culture, developed on trust and collaborative working. You will join a group of partners with excellent clients and profiles in their respective markets, coupled with entrepreneurial spirit and good humour. You will have an opportunity not only to lead the real estate team in Manchester, but play a key role in the Manchester office and help grow and shape the office in years to come. As this is a partner role, contacts and a genuine enthusiasm to business develop is essential, but there is a very sensible expectation in terms of following - whilst some client following would be preferred, more importantly is a proactive attitude and eagerness to grow a practice. With internal referrals from day one you will have a soft landing but be given the autonomy to develop the role as you choose.
