Our client is a well known multinational I.T. company headquartered in Europe.

They are now seeking a talented lawyer to be based in Dubai. 

As Legal Counsel (MENA & UK) will report to the regional GC and will be responsible for a broad spectrum of legal matters within the UK & MEA regional business. The role holder will collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to enable commercial agreements, review contracts and provide counsel regarding compliance, regulations and company policies. They will also be required to work closely with Sales as well as with counterparts in other regions (e.g. Americas, Asia Pacific) and the Corporate Legal Team, plus other business teams in the region and globally. 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required 

• Law degree from a duly accredited law school and member of at least one bar association (preferably in one of the jurisdictions of regional interest).  

• Minimum 4 years of work experience as an in-house lawyer with relevant experience in IT/Software commercial contracts. 

• High-level legal drafting and negotiation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Further languages (preferably Arabic or Persian), will be advantageous

• Relevant experience in negotiating with customers from the MENA region will be a distinct advantage
