Communications & PR Advisor at International Law Firm, up to £45,000

Our prestigious International law firm client are currently looking for a Communications and PR Advisor to join their Communications team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting in the implementation of strategic PR initiatives to build the profile, with national and specialist media in the firm's target sectors and services. The main responsibilities for this role are clearly identifying and understanding the UK PR landscape, its requirements and also the firm's ability to exploit these across various areas.  Identifying key target media journalists in national, trade, online and broadcast media and maintaining working relationships with these journalists, applying specific knowledge of sector landscapes to identify opportunities for the firm, and to help develop cross-practice campaign ideas, supporting the Head of Communications and the PR Manager to deliver and evaluate a programme of creative, responsive, and news driven PR campaigns, monitoring forward features for opportunities, critically review and edit media proposals, pitch ideas to journalists, work closely with sector and service BD managers to deliver PR plans. This role will give the appropriate candidate a lot of autonomy and responsibility. Candidates should have direct experience of working in both the legal and/or other professional services arenas
