Business Development Manager (Paris)

Business Development Manager role heading up the Paris office of this prestigious law firm – based in France, competitive salary

A Business Development Manager is being sought to manage the BD and practice/sector group development objectives in Paris office of this globally renowned law firm. Working closely with Partners, fee earners, the Head of BD (Europe) and other BD colleagues, this position is integral in helping drive forward the business generation for the Paris office, where the key aims are to maximise opportunities and raise the firm’s profile. You will be managing four BD support staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Maximising opportunities to grow revenue from existing and prospective clients across France;
• Raising the firm’s profile and position within the French market; 
• Provide support to Relationship Partners and also have Client Relationship Management responsibilities;
• Share proactive ideas to partners on business development in rising areas of legal service or in the context of industry developments for specific client industries.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Business Development professional who has worked in professional services has a good understanding of the legal industry. You will need to have excellent fluency, both written and verbal, in French and English. Characteristically, you will be a strong influencer, highly self-motivated, confident and client-service minded.
