This is a rare opportunity for a solicitor to join a renowned environmental team at a leading international firm in Manchester City Centre. Whilst environmental experience is desirable, the firm will also consider candidates from a transactional background with strong technical skills who are keen to specialise in environmental law.

The Role

- Working with some of the leading experts in the field, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of non-contentious environmental work
- This includes advising on issues ranging from contamination to waste, REACH, BREXIT, biocides and more
- Whilst the majority of work is standalone, you will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues from other teams, providing advice on real estate and corporate transactions
- You will also be involved in providing training both internally and externally

The Candidate

- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
- The firm are able to consider candidates at a range of PQE levels
- NQ solicitors coming up to qualification will be considered
- Whilst environmental experience is preferred, candidates with strong academics, a transactional background and a desire to specialise in environmental work are encouraged to apply
- High level technical skills are essential, together with a strong client facing attitude and enthusiasm to build external relationships
