Corporate & Commercial Legal Counsel, FTSE250, Central London

Our client, a leading FTSE 250 retail business with operations across the UK, is looking to hire an ambitious corporate solicitor to join their growing legal team based in Central London.

Reporting to the Head of Legal the role will involve providing corporate and commercial legal support across the business. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing corporate and commercial legal issues and advising on legal risks.
• Providing corporate governance support
• Overseeing legal budgets and managing external counsel
• Drafting and implementing standardised legal contracts for the business

Candidates will ideally have between 5-8 years of post-qualification experience gained in either a top law firm or well-regarded in-house team. Those seeking a corporate position with exposure to commercial law are encouraged to apply.
