We have recently been instructed by our client, a leading full-service commercial law firm, in relation to an opportunity for a junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing Commercial Litigation team based in Leicester. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor who is seeking a varied and challenging role.

About the role

This busy Litigation team work with public and private sector bodies on complex disputes, often involving multiple parties. The Litigation team provide a wide range of advice on general business disputes, alternative dispute resolution, complex fraud disputes, debt recovery, insurance policy coverage, professional negligence claims and partnership disputes.

In particular, this presents an exciting opportunity to work alongside experts in this field with Partners being highly commended in the Legal 500.

Daily tasks of the Commercial Litigation Solicitor will include handling settlement negotiations, dealing with disclosure, researching intricate points of law and assisting with business development initiatives.

About the person

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with at least 6 months experience gained in a Commercial Litigation seat at a comparable firm. Candidates with more experience will also be considered.

Alongside an exceptional academic record, key skills that the junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor must possess include a keen attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a thirst for knowledge, client focus and the ability to identify and develop appropriate networking opportunities.
