Construction Solicitor

An award winning, legal-500 firm has an excellent opportunity for a Construction Solicitor to join their rapidly growing real estate team in Leeds.

This role provides the opportunity to be part of a highly-successful practice and is a key player in the Yorkshire market with a national reputation. The firm places real importance on client service with the partners leading the way of this but encouraging this approach from all of those within the practice, they are also renowned for being forward-thinking and commercially savvy. They have an innovative approach and consistently invest time and resources into building relationships with clients to understand their goals and achieve them, as well as providing added value to their businesses.

The successful candidate will be handling a broad range of construction work issues including work for developers, tenants or funders. The work will focus predominantly on non-contentious matters but experience in contentious construction matters will also be desirable. The work will be varied and comes into the team both directly and by way of delivering support to their extensive property team. Currently with only a partner and an assistant in the team they are looking for someone to deliver strong support to the partner, effectively being a right hand person. The successful candidate should be at least year's PQE, however you could be much more senior.

There is considerable opportunity for further development for a mid-level lawyer wanting to progress their career, and if you are already more established they are really open minded as to the exact level that they recruit at, however as is typical there will need to be a business case made if you are at a very senior or partner level already.
