Commercial & IP Solicitor.
This highly regarded law practice is growing their Commercial & IP offering.
Unusually, this position will include both contentious (25%) and non contentious (75%) work. The contentious element will involve IP disputes (cease and desist work).
Your work will be broad and include negotiating and drafting contracts, licences, assignments, distribution and merchandising agreements, collaboration agreements, and NDAs. You will organise and conduct IP audits, and provide support on disputes and opposition work.
You will work alongside specialist Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys who handle the application for, and management of, registered rights. Training in this area of law will be given if required.
In addition, you will support others across the corporate team with IP due diligence, warranties, disclosures, and ancillary documents.
This Commercial & IP Solicitor position will suit a still fairly junior, but very astute and commercially aware, lawyer. You will have trained at a top firm and be familiar with delivering innovative solutions to demanding clients.
You will ideally have at least 2 years' relevant experience handling commercial and/or IP work. In this Commercial & IP Solicitor role, you will work closely with at least two well known and reputed partners, so you will continue to grow professionally and enhance your skill set.
