Commercial Litigation Lawyer

Our client is a long established and progressive law firm based in South Hertfordshire. The firm is recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers and are accredited as an Investor in People and hold Lexcel. They are looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor on a full time permanent basis.

As a result of planned expansion, the purpose of the role is to take on an existing caseload as well as develop relationships with new clients and to be actively involved in business development. The successful candidate will work alongside the commercial litigation partner, 3 solicitors and support staff. The appointment will be between 5-10 years PQE level with generalist commercial litigation experience.

The role is a dispute resolution specialist role spanning all contentious aspects of commercial litigation and some civil litigation. Typical work areas include general breach of contract including sale of goods, theft of confidential information, shareholder and partnership disputes.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor, FILEX or equivalent with upwards of 5 years' PQE who has substantial commercial acumen demonstrable track record in handling a commercial litigation caseload.
