Residential Conveyancer

Are you a Residential Conveyancing Assistant who is looking to work for a niche transport and logistics law firm? Our client is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join them in their Manchester Office.

The specialist transport and logistics lawyers firm prides themselves on delivering bespoke service and being the market leader in the field. The client has won awards for their expertise within the market. The role will be based in the growing Residential Conveyancing Department. Experience of at least 2 years within a busy residential conveyancing department is essential. The successful candidate will need to have good technical and procedural knowledge and have the ability to deal with the range of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities for the role will include:

• Opening new files
• Dealing with correspondence
• Liaising with lenders, brokers and estate agents AP1 and post completion requirements
• Drafting transfers and contracts
• Submitting searches
• SDLT returns

Skills for this role include:

• You will need to be highly organised and be able to manage your time efficiently
• Great attention to detail
• Polished telephone manner
