IN-HOUSE Paralegal job in the Merseyside area - great opportunity to develop your commercial experience

Your new company
This global company, with a UK head office based in the North West, is easily commutable from Liverpool, Chester, Wrexham, Wirral, Ellesmere Port or Flintshire. A permanent vacancy has arisen in the legal compliance team for an in-house paralegal, cilex trainee or recently qualified cilex lawyer or newly qualified solicitor.

Your new role
You will have excellent exposure to a range of work from responding to in-house legal queries around due diligence processes and compliance. You will be responsible for reviewing, amending and advising on commercial contract agreements. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with industry regulations in order to remain compliant and provide accurate advice to the group on legal and compliance matters such as corporate governance, data protection and GDPR.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have commercial paralegal experience, either from private practice, in-house or in a compliance role, with a good attitude towards learning and developing your legal knowledge. You will also need to have excellent relationship building skills as you will be engaging with the business as well as external customers and third parties. This role could also suit an experienced paralegal looking to retrain and apply their legal skills in commercial areas of law.
