£45,000 – £60,000
Risk & Compliance Solicitor - This large Chambers ranked and highly accredited regional heavyweight firm now need a risk & compliance solicitor at associate level to assist the head of the division.
You will need to have at least 3 years previous experience of working within risk and compliance; and preferably from a law firm background.
You will be heavily involved in the monitoring and improvement of the department, advising on a variety of matters; that include, conflicts of interest, confidentiality issues, money laundering, client due diligence, advising on aspects of the SRA handbook, management of emerging risk, undertaking internal audits and drafting and implementing the firms policies. An understanding of the Legal Ombudsman rules is preferred but not essential.
