An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer to a global brand as Senior Legal Counsel at their Midlands HQ.
About the Role
The Legal Counsel will support the business as it expands, taking on the following responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including agency, distribution and licensing agreements
- Assisting with corporate transactions and leading on major projects
- Advising the business on compliance, including anti-bribery and competition
- Supporting and developing more junior members of the legal team
- Supporting the Director of Legal with management of external resources
Candidate Requirements
The Senior In House Counsel will ideally have:
- 8+ years’ PQE
- Demonstrable experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- The ability to build and maintain lasting working relationships
- European or Russian language skills (beneficial)
On Offer
- £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
- Permanent, full time contract
