Teignbridge Council currently have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Solicitor to join their legal services team. The role will be a 2 year fixed term contract, and this Trainee Solicitor post is full time, 37 hours per week.

What you'll be doing: In the course of training to become a Solicitor you will be working with experienced Solicitors for two local authorities (Plymouth City Council as well as Teignbridge District Council), advising officers and councillors on a full range of legal issues relevant to local government.

For this role: As a Trainee Solicitor you will be based largely be at Teignbridge District Council offices in Newton Abbott. You will also work with Solicitors in Plymouth City Council's legal team based in Plymouth as part of your commercial property training.
