Construction Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Construction Solicitor to join a driven and dynamic market leading firm based in Leeds city centre. The Legal 500 practice is seeking an ambitious solicitor ideally with interest and previous experience in construction or as a minimum a strong desire to handle this work.

The work awaiting the successful candidate will predominantly be non-contentious and will involve a full range of high quality and complex construction work for both public sector and independent sector clients. This presents an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your long term career in this area of work.

You will be responsible for your own caseload and will be working closely with the Partners and Solicitors of both the Real Estate and Housing teams on business development opportunities. It is important to have outstanding interpersonal skills and be a go getter who works hard to raise their profile and network in order to help grow the department.

Our client is looking for a commercially savvy Construction Solicitor with great technical skills, a motivation for excellent client care. A strong awareness of the industry would be ideal though not essential as this can be taught.

The successful candidate will be an NQ, or have up to three years' experience, however, this level of experience has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this bracket.
