Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to a fantastic opportunity for a Childcare Solicitor to join a large, well-respected local authority based in South Wales, with access to great transport links.

The Childcare Solicitor role will be for an initial 3 month period, with a possibility of extension. As a Childcare Solicitor you will be confident in carrying your own caseload of care proceedings, as well as pre-proceeding matters. Main duties will include:

  • Handing a full caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children matters
  • Conducting own advocacy
  • Drafting documents, including statements and threshold agreements
  • Creating and maintaining court bundles

In return for the right candidate our client is able to over a flexible working, which could incorporate remote working, condensed hours or part time hours.
