Childcare Legal Officer

Sellick Partnership are recruiting a Childcare Legal Officer for a local authority based in West Yorkshire. This local authority is easily accessible by public transport and is just walking distance from the train station.

Our client is seeking a Legal Officer who already has experience working within a Childcare team, whether this be within a private practice or public sector organisation.

The successful Legal Officer will take on a mixed workload, including, but not exclusive to:

• Care supervision orders
• Co-working matters with solicitors
• Corresponding with clients and social workers
• Preparing court bundles and witness statements
• Gathering evidence
• Section 7 and 37 reports

The successful candidate will join a sizable and friendly legal team for an initial period of 6 months, but with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will be available immediately for full-time employment.
