Kennedys is looking for qualified Associates to join our Healthcare division, based in Birmingham to work on NHS Resolution clinical negligence litigation matters.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who have an interest in this area to join a highly reputable Division, ranked in the top tier for Defendant Clinical Negligence in both Chambers and Legal 500.

Type of Clients:

  • NHS Resolution
  • NHS Healthcare clients
  • Independent hospital groups and practitioners.

Type of Cases:

Claims both pre-litigation and in litigation covering the full range of clinical negligence issues including, surgical, obstetric, orthopaedic and psychiatric.

Experience

  • CILEX or Solicitor qualification
  • Good knowledge of clinical negligence litigation process and Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Litigation experience within clinical negligence or personal injury as part of a training contract
  • NHS Resolution experience
  • File management
  • Client contact
  • Experience of managing own clinical negligence and/or personal injury caseload subject to supervision would be beneficial
