In-House Commercial Fee Earner

A truly stand out opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Fee Earner in central York to join a specialist in-house legal department. Our client provides tailored legal advice to medical practices throughout the United Kingdom. In this role you will be largely working on the sales and acquisitions of medical practices. It is therefore essential you have a strong background (either within private practice or in-house) managing commercial matters with full autonomy with a particular focus on sales and acquisitions.

Our client is located within close proximity to York train station making their offices highly accessible. They pride themselves on offering a strong work life balance and with this position you will have the opportunity to work from home up to two days a week.
Role
-Working within this specialist in-house legal team you will be work alongside a highly experienced Solicitor specialising in the sale and acquisitions of medical practices.
-In addition to sales and acquisitions you will also be exposed to various asset agreements such as partnership and shareholder agreements.
-In this role you will work very closely alongside the Director who will support you, in particular, with training on any medical sector technical elements that you may not have had exposure to.
Candidate
-You must have sales and acquisitions experience and be confident running commercial files from start to completion. Ideally you will be a qualified Chartered Legal Executive.
-It is not essential to have experience within the medical or healthcare sector as the Director will fully train you on specialist legal elements. However a good understanding of the sector is an advantage. Â Â
