A fantastic US Law Firm based in the heart of the city is looking to hire a new Legal Recruitment Manager to join the London office on a permanent basis. Responsibilities will include managing all aspects of the lateral recruiting process, including meeting with Partners to determine staffing needs and recruiting talent both directly through existing relationships in the market and through relationships with external legal recruiters and head-hunters, utilizing market trends and conditions that may affect compensation, bonuses, raises, and benefits, arranging recruiting briefings with agencies for various teams as required, preparing offer packages, being involved in all aspects of post offer process including ensuring all conflicts and background checks are completed and managing immigration and relocation issues, focusing on lateral attorney integration, manage the pipeline of transfer attorneys to/from London office, maintaining the CV mail database and review all CVs and manage any introductions/agency disputes/fee/terms arrangement, work with the team on some graduate recruiting matters - including - attend some law fairs during the Autumn where required; help to initially pre-screen the applications before managing the reject/hold/invite to interview processes; assist with organizing the Assessment Days for Vacation Scheme candidates; assist with the Vacation Scheme; US Summer Programme - work with the team to help organise the US on campus recruiting pipeline, managing the leave process for Attorneys. Other duties include assisting with the facilitation the lateral orientation program, assisting with Attorney and Summer Associate on-boarding, including development of local and Firmwide orientation programs, prepare annual goals and budget, review and approve Attorney recruiting expenses, working with the team on the annual European Attorney Retreat, working with the team on diversity initiatives and events, working with the Partners and other relevant business personnel on submissions to publications such as Stonewall, keeping abreast of diversity initiatives in other firms and suggesting a programme of events, work with the rest of the team and the Head of Compliance on SRA issues across the remit of the team. Candidates need to have a minimum of 8 years lateral recruitment management experience and strong communication, organisational and project management skills.
