A prominent Legal 500 Law Firm are looking for a 4+ PQE Data Protection Solicitor to join the busy and fast growing Corporate and Commercial Department in their modern office in Manchester on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities of your new role

Joining a hard working and vibrant team that has achieved double percentage growth over the last 7 years, your core duties as Data Protection Solicitor will include advising on the full range of data and GDPR related matters, including:

• Privacy policies
• Data processing agreements
• Data sharing agreements
• Subject access requests
• Marketing laws
• Data breaches
• Conducting data protection audits

From a commercial law perspective, the role will provide exposure to the full range of commercial law matters, often high value and / or cross border in nature.

Candidate requirements

The firm seeks a Data Protection specialist who demonstrates:

• 4+ years of relevant PQE
• Solid experience working in an established and recognised Corporate & Commercial Department
• Excellent client care skills
• Commercial acumen
