Costs Draftsman
Newcastle or Sunderland
A North East regional firm is seeking a Costs Draftsman to join their growing team in either Newcastle or Sunderland. The firm specialises in such areas as Personal Injury, Actions Against the Police, Clinical Negligence, Mental Health, Crime, Family, Housing and Private Client.
Your role:
Your role will involve producing bills of costs for court and Legal Aid Agency assessment. This will include CFAs, Party/Part, Civil Public Funding Certificates, Civil Legal Helps, Crime Legal Aid Investigations, Crime Legal Aid Proceedings, High Cost Case Plans.
You will also provide billing advice to fee earners and work with colleagues involved in the billing process.
About you:
You will ideally be a qualified Costs Draftsman and membership of the Association of Costs Lawyers will be highly desirable.
