Reed Legal is working alongside a leading off-shore legal firm looking to recruit a risk and compliance assistant - you will be working alongside their current Head of Risk and Compliance in their central London office.

The firm is a full service practice, specialising in offshore legal advice, with offices in Bermuda, Guernsey etc - they have a particular emphasis on financial and private wealth. The role is a full time position, working closely with the head of Risk and Compliance. They have over 200 lawyers within the firm, making it one of the largest in its area of expertise.

Your Responsibilities -

- Obtaining CDD documentation
- Undertaking sanctions and PEP screening of clients (usuing Accuity)
- Completing CDD profile forms
- Monitoring compliaince with SRA requirements - carrying out periodic file reviews as directed
- Acting as principal point of Contact on CDD matters in the absence of Money Laundering Regulations officer.
- Ensuring CDD profile forms are signed off in a timely manner

Ideal Candidate -

- Experience in obtaining CDD documentation for clients
- Detailed knowledge of Law Societies AML practice note
- Experience in report drafting
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- At least 2 years' experience working in compliance in a Law Firm
