Due to expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a non-contentious Construction Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in London. Responsibilities of your new role

As the firm’s new Construction Solicitor your core duties will include:

• Independently running a caseload of non-contentious construction files
• Assisting with some contentious construction disputes matters when required
• Drafting and negotiating industry standard forms and contracts such as JCT
• Involvement with business development and marketing

Candidate requirements

The ideal Construction Solicitor will demonstrate:

• 2+ years of non-contentious construction experience, some contentious knowledge is advantageous
• A strong academic background including a 2:1 degree or higher and high LPC grade
• The ability to work autonomously and consistently produce work of an exceptional standard

• Familiarity with industry standard forms such as JCT
• Self-motivation to generate new clients
