I have an exciting opening for a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join the Disputes department in one of London's most prestigious law firms. My client has established a fantastic reputation as a forward thinking and dynamic law firm, regularly being listed in leading legal directories. Who have had frequent awards given in recognition of the efforts of its individual lawyers, departments and the firm as a whole.

The role - Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Key Commercial Litigation Paralegal duties will include the following:

• Drafting legal documents;
• Collating Court bundles and preparing material to assist with Court hearings;
• Upholding confidentiality at all times when working on matters;
• Attendance at Court, mediation meetings and conferences as and when is required;
• Assist with the preparation of precedents, evidence and exhibits; and

• Photocopying, faxing and filing as and when is required.

*please note that the above is not an exhaustive list of the duties that will be undertaken and additional duties may be required depending on the changing needs of the department.

Skills and qualifications

The ideal Commercial Litigation Paralegal will:

• Have a LPC/LLB/GDL qualification (minimum 2:1 but preferably a 1st and Commendation or higher in the LPC);

• Have prior Commercial Litigation Paralegal experience within a Commercial Litigation environment;
• Be organised, diligent and methodical in their work;

• Be able to deliver to deadlines as and when is required;
• Be competent in operating Microsoft applications; and
• Have experience in working with a digital dictation programmes and be able to type at a speed of around 60 words per minute.
