Private Family Solicitor.
This is a fantastic opportunity within a Legal 500 and award-winning private family team in County Durham. If you are a qualified solicitor, or soon to be qualified, with experience in family law, then this role is your opportunity for career progression within one of the largest firms in the North East.
It is also your chance to learn from some of the top solicitors in the region. This role includes a variety of private family matters, with an emphasis on high net worth cases. Salary will be competitive, as are the benefits which include free parking.
As a Private Family Solicitor, you will run your own caseload and assist other fee earners with complex and high-value divorce, financial settlements, nuptial agreements, cohabitation disputes, and TOLATA issues. You will also need to engage in business development which will involve attending networking events and writing blogs.
You will be working closely with a team of experienced family lawyers spread out over multiple offices. In addition, you will have support from paralegals and secretaries who will complete lots of the legwork, ensuring your focus and attention is on maximising your fee earning.
To be considered for this position, you will need to be a qualified solicitor preferably with 1-2 years' PQE. Applications are also being looked at for soon to be NQ solicitors with significant family experience. It is essential that you have excellent client communication skills and great time management.
