Regulatory Counsel, Global Asset Manager
Our Client, a global asset manager, is seeking an experienced regulatory lawyer to join their London-based legal and compliance team.
Responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Identifying and understanding the UK and European regulatory agenda and working with relevant stakeholders;
- Taking ownership of the delivery of key regulatory projects such as SMCR and the FCA Market Study, MiFID II, UCITS and such other regulations as impact the business from time to time;
- Acting as a ‘point person’ in responding to ad hoc queries from the business on a general range of regulatory matters;
- Providing concise updates and briefings on UK and European regulatory developments;
- Overseeing the update of existing compliance policies and procedures and introducing new policies as necessary
Skills and Qualifications
- Regulatory lawyer with 5-10 years+ PQE.
- In depth knowledge of relevant UK and European Regulations.
- European language skills would be advantageous.
