Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel 2-6+ years PQE (Commutable from Shropshire, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Crewe, Stoke)

Instantly recognisable brand within a fast paced, interesting sector is looking to hire a legal counsel with a background in commercial/company law to join the legal team.

You will handle a diverse and challenging in-house caseload of commercial and company law matters, supporting key stakeholders across Marketing, HR, Procurement, IT and Sales.

You will negotiate and draft a range of commercial agreements and contracts, ensure the Group's commercial activities comply with statutory and regulatory requirements and best practice and manage risk accordingly.
Handle specific projects across IP, Data Protection and Information Technology including the delivery of relevant training.
Provide advice on regulatory matters and compliance
Advise on corporate matters, JV's and broader company law
Support on ad-hoc legal queries involving employment law, litigation or property matters.

Previous in-house experience is helpful but not essential and we are equally interesting in speaking to those currently in private practice looking to move in-house.
