Conveyancing Paralegal.
My client is a high street firm with a large and well known residential conveyancing team based in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will join a thriving team and will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish, with the support from legal secretaries and paralegals.
The firm is a traditional high street firm who prides themselves on their reputation and quality of service to clients. They have a strong client base who provide repeat business, however, business development is always encouraged within the firm.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to deal with the full range of conveyancing matters independently. The size of the caseload will depend on the experience level you are currently at, but you will be expected to complete between 20 and 35 matters per month.
There is no panel work. The firm has small scale referral arrangements with local agents but the majority of the work is either repeat clients or is generated via their website. Consequently, the work is traditional sales and purchases. This does include a good amount of leasehold and new build work. They do not specifically target this but a Fee Earner will ideally be able to do some of this work or will be expected to develop into taking some of these cases.
The structure is a team of 5. Business development is desirable but not essential.
The firm is offering a competitive salary and all the usual perks and benefits associated with a professional, stable law firm, including free car parking, a pension scheme, 23 days holiday plus stats (this increases with long service), along with a good working environment and supportive Partners.
All staff salaries are reviewed annually but increase depending upon performance, however, there is always an opportunity to review salary at any time in addition to the annual review.
