Legal Assistant/Paralegal - Global Brand

Our client, a global brand that’s synonymous with championing consumers and disrupting businesses, is currently searching for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal who’s looking for a highly visible role in a legal team operating at the heart of the business.

Whilst the brand is known the world over, the role is within a new part of the business so you’ll have the chance to play a part in building something almost from the ground up.  So whilst technical experience might get you through the door, to really thrive in this role you’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, have high energy, be self-motivated, and be delivery focused.   

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: working closely with the Head of Legal to build the legal function; taking a leading role in managing day to day administration, structure and allocation of work within the department; providing proactive and commercial legal support to all parts of the business; and assisting with the company secretarial function.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic record, ideally including in the LPC*; previous paralegal experience in a commercial context, preferably with a large multi-national brand/organisation; strong commercial awareness; meticulous attention to detail; a collaborative working style and the ability to develop working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders; and a sense of humour!
