Tax Disputes

London

£70,000 - £90,000

Do you want to go places legally that no one else has? Have you got experience within indirect tax matters?

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to continue as an indirect tax specialist or to further specialise within indirect tax matters. The tax disputes team have a long-standing reputation for leading on cases that are not only high profile and reported in the press, but often looking into areas of law that haven't been explored since being set by the European commission. The team are extremely litigation heavy and are in court on average two or three times a month, therefore is a great opportunity if you are looking for more exposure to the courts.

The team act for tax payers (predominantly large corporates) who are in dispute with the HMRC on matters relating to VAT, customs and exercise duties and environmental tax issues. The team has a strong pyramid structure and currently consists of 12 specialists who work together to defend clients and frequently win cases against the HMRC. Whilst the team is very litigation heavy, they also help clients who are wanting to self-investigate for several reasons and help with any subsequent actions such as voluntary disclosures.

The Global Leader of Indirect Taxes is looking for someone with passion and flare for what they do and who takes interest in wider cases within the market. The team's success is not only down to their technical excellence but their enthusiasm for what they do.

If you are looking for the opportunity to join a leading team where you can work on cutting edge tax dispute cases, then I would be keen to speak with you. There is a great deal of flexibility around the level of this individual and the re-numeration package, so would encourage Tax Litigation.

The Pro-Recruitment Group consists of five distinct brands: Pro-Tax, Pro-Legal, Pro-Finance, Pro-HR and Pro-Marketing.
