Business Development Manager role – 12 month FTC with opportunity to become permanent aligned to restructuring practice of global law firm. Full or part time role.
This prestigious global law firm is seeking a Business Development on a 12 month contract in a brand new role in its restructuring and insolvency practice. Developing and supporting the business development strategy in the UK and EMEA. Although initially a 12 month contract this role has the potential to develop in a permanent role. Specific tasks include:
- Working with the partners to deliver the strategic plan for London and EMEA
- Developing an annual marketing plan to support the business plan, including profile raising initiatives;
- Researching and maintaining a database of potential distressed assets,
- Monitoring opportunities and ensuring partners follow up to develop pipeline;
- Developing materials to support pitching activity in the practice space;
- Playing an advisory role to partners ensuring that they are being proactive.
You will have previous experience working in a Business Development role with a focus on selling, pursuits management and account management in a professional services environment, preferably legal. You will have proven ability to plan and execute business plans and goals, in addition to building strategic relationships and pursuing new business. You will have a great attitude towards numbers and conducting research. You will either be an experienced business development manager or a senior business development executive looking for a step up.
As this is a 12-month contract, ideally you will be available immediately or have a short notice period to fulfil. The firm is open to the successful candidate working a four-day week and is open to people with different levels of experience.
