A top tier international firm is seeking a junior Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer to join their team in Edinburgh.
About the Role
As the appointed Financial Services Regulation Solicitor, you will be joining one of the largest financial regulation teams in the UK.
The team has a strong financial markets regulatory practice, which:
- Assists clients to implement MIFID II, EMIR, Senior Persons Regime
- Supports transactional, banking and funds structuring work
The role is likely to involve retail and commercial work for investment management, life assurance, and wealth businesses.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Regulatory Lawyer will have:
- 0-3 years’ PQE
- Demonstrable interest / experience in financial regulation
- A sound knowledge of contract law
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Clear understanding and working experience of the operation and structure of a leading law firm and the needs of clients in a top flight team
