Legal Counsel

A leading UK business operating in both the private and public healthcare sectors is seeking to recruit a mid to senior level Legal Counsel for their in-house legal team in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. This In-House Counsel role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities of your new role

Reporting into the Head of Legal and working closely with the MDs for the two separate businesses within the Group, the Legal Counsel will form part of a well-balanced team responsible for:

• Negotiating, drafting and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts, particularly those related to the purchase of good and selling of services
• Advising on data protection matters
• Assisting with M&A and corporate work as required
• Supporting key internal stakeholders through the analysing risk and offering commercial advice
• Assisting with other legal matters, such as employment and property law

Candidate requirements

The business is looking to speak with Legal Counsel applicants who demonstrate:

• 5+ years of PQE lawyer
• An interest in taking on a broad variety of work
• Strong commercial contracts experience
