Client Relationship Manager – truly client facing role managing a small number of global key clients in one of the world’s leading law firms.

A Client Relationship Manager is being sought for maternity cover with an immediate start for 12-15 months until summer 2020 by a global law firm is one of the success stories of recent years. Offering a sophisticated business development function, this firm boasts a real diversity and an international culture as well as being ahead of the curve on flexible working. You will be working in a dedicated client relationship team and managing a number of large blue chip key clients across a variety of sectors. This is a truly client facing role where you will be encouraged to meet with and develop contacts within your key accounts, and can expect your responsibilities to include:

  • Account planning;
  • Client research;
  • Play an advisory role to partners on cross-selling initiatives to create new opportunities;
  • Meeting with clients to understand their requirements;
  • Implementing KPIs;
  • Networking through clients to develop new contacts and opportunities;
  • Developing value adds;
  • Panel bids and proposals
  • Working with partners and the finance team on the profitability of each account;
  • Manage the sales pipeline for each account and reporting;

You will have experience of being client facing and managing major global accounts. This will ideally have been gained within professional services.  You will be confident and have the gravitas to deal with partners and clients. International exposure is key for this role.

As this is a contract, the ideal candidate will be available immediately or have a short notice period to fulfil.  The firm has an excellent track record of retaining strong contractors and the client development team is actively expanding. Therefore there is a good chance for this role to become a permanent opportunity.
