An exciting fintech company is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their in-house team in London for a full-time, permanent role. The Legal Counsel will join a business specialising in the automation of the issuance and life cycle process of capital markets instruments, supplying large financial institutions with platform technology that enables this.

Responsibilities of your new role

The key responsibilities of your new Legal Counsel role will include:

• Supporting the significant legal technology aspects of the business
• Assisting their development teams in platform design and processes
• Working with law firms, in-house legal teams and industry bodies to drive commercialisation strategy

Candidate requirements

The business seeks an ambitious and entrepreneurial In-House Counsel who demonstrates:

• 3+ years of PQE
• Relevant capital markets experience with a focus on derivatives and structured finance
• Real interest in technology and its application to capital markets and legal practice
