Property Law and Wayleaves Paralegal.

This role is different as it is not with a private practice law firm, but in-house in a business.

This Exeter based company has received substantial investment and is preparing to install new fibre broadband networks across the South West.

As a property law and wayleaves paralegal, you will join the in-house legal team and be the single point of contact for obtaining landowner consents, wayleaves and easements for the installation of these new fibre broadband networks. You will assist with the management of business legal issues, including contract development and review, while also liaising with external solicitors on all matters.

You will be involved in managing the process of contract review and development, helping in negotiations to secure access arrangements from landowners and occupiers. Above all, you will acquire all wayleave agreements and deeds of easement as required.

It is essential that you understand easements, wayleaves and environmental assents and consents. You will have previously had a lot of experience handling this type of work and be confident in doing so with minimal supervision.

You will also resolve any disputes that arise and estimate compensation required by landowner’s occupiers for any losses or damage caused and negotiate settlement.

This property law and wayleaves paralegal role certainly is different and will no doubt progress in the future as your experience grows.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious business at the start of their exciting journey.

There is an excellent salary on offer for this Exeter based role, depending on experience. Click on apply now to send your CV through for consideration.
