Sellick Partnership is currently working in partnership with a high performing social enterprise law firm which provides legal services across the public and not to profit sector. This practice is seeking to increase their social services team due to the successful demand within their public childcare department and as such are seeking Childcare Lawyers (Solicitor, Legal Executive or Non-practising Barrister).

Our client is happy to consider candidates on a locum, fixed term or permanent basis and are willing to be flexible for the right candidate in terms of hours and home working.

The successful Childcare Lawyer will be joining an established practice that has exciting prospects ahead. You will have experience of undertaking public childcare law matters either within a local authority or private practice setting and will be able to pick up an existing caseload.

Our Client is looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a real passion for this area of law who are able to work within a pressurised and complex area of law. You will be required to undertake a manageable caseload of both pre proceeding and proceeding matters. Those who are comfortable with completing their own advocacy will be encouraged to do so but there is also in-house counsel available. You will receive excellent support from a team of paralegals who will be able to assist on both casework and bundling.

The client is happy to consider candidates who have a litigation or family background who are looking to transfer into public childcare work. This is a great training opportunity for someone who is seriously considering this as part of their career.

This practice has three offices but are looking to recruit two lawyers for their Northampton and Bedfordshire office making it easily accessible for those living in the Home Counties, East Anglia or Midlands area. It has easy transport routes from London also.
