Legal Counsel

A multinational pharmaceutical company is looking for a senior Legal Counsel to join them for an 18-month maternity cover. This is a full-time In-House Counsel position based in London.

Responsibilities of your new role

Joining a reputable in-house team, your role as Legal Counsel will cover two main areas:

• Overseeing local Counsel in various European jurisdictions, assisting on all escalated matters and liaising with stakeholders within the local teams.
• Working with the executive level on complex and confidential matters, including restructurings, hiring etc.

Candidate requirements

The business looks to hear from Legal Counsel applicants who demonstrate:

• Around 8+ years of PQE
• Experience working with all levels, but particularly with senior (C-Suite) stakeholders
• Confidence dealing with delicate situations
• Pharmaceutical experience is not necessary
• Experience with a multinational corporation is ideal, but individuals from private practice who have a significant secondment in such a corporation will also be considered
