Key Responsibilities.
The focus of the role is to support the 'digital wallet'and 'rapid transfer' sectors of the business, therefore engagement with individuals at all levels of the business and across all regions from an early stage in the role.
The key responsibilities will be providing general commercial and regulatory advice as well as drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with existing and potential merchants.
Engaging with external counsel in numerous jurisdictions and supporting the business in house on applicable legal and regulatory framework in relevant territories.
About the Fintech Lawyer.
As the lawyer, you will have at least four years post qualified experience (although different levels of experience would be considered if you meet the requisite skills), a solid base background in commercial contracts is essential and experience within financial services, particularly open banking or regulation would be very beneficial but also IP, DP and gaming regulatory experience would also be suitable for the role.
