Our client is an impressive international law firm, known for "punching above their weight". The firm provides a full range of market-leading legal services, and their highly regarded Corporate team in London comes up against (and often appears in the rankings tables with) much larger Magic Circle and US firms.
Their Corporate group negotiates and concludes complex and often market-leading transactions, including:
- Corporate finance and securities transactions;
- M&A;
- Private equity and venture capital;
- Strategic alliances and projects; and
- Commercial agreements.
The firm prides itself on its sector focus, and has particular strength and depth of knowledge in transport (maritime, aviation, and rail), and energy & infrastructure (including renewable energy as well as traditional energy sources, and mining/infrastructure). Clients include public and private companies, private equity and other investment funds, investment banks and corporate financiers, international and domestic issuers, and private individuals.
The London Corporate team often works closely in conjunction with their colleagues in the firm's extensive international network. Most of the transactions they advise on have multi-jurisdictional elements, be it the funding, companies at issue or one or more of the parties.
Due to a strong pipeline of new and existing client work, they are expanding the Corporate team in London. Having recently hired several junior and mid-level lawyers, they are now looking for an additional Senior Associate.
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Excellent academics
- Training and 5-7 years' post-qualification experience at a City, international, or highly regarded regional law firm
- Proven technical, analytical and transaction management and execution skills.
- The experience and ability to operate autonomously, prioritise, organise, and project manage
- Excellent communication, professionalism and interpersonal skills
- A hands-on, flexible approach to providing a high quality client service
This is an opportunity to take on top quality work in a firm which offers genuine career progression. To discuss this opportunity please contact David VonDadelszen in the Jameson Legal London office in complete confidence.
