Senior Employment Counsel (Director) - Entertainment Company

A global leader in the entertainment business is searching for a Senior Employment Counsel for a new, high profile strategic role.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing day-to-day proactive employment law and compliance advice, assistance and counsel across a range of business units; drafting, reviewing and revising local and global employment and compliance policies; conducting investigations on a global basis relating to potential violations of the company’s code of conduct and employee relations issues; drafting and negotiating employment, settlement and termination agreements; identifying potential data privacy issues; and providing training to employees on a global basis – to name just a few.

The successful candidate will have European employment law experience, with a preference shown to those with exposure to one or more of Latin America, Africa and/or Asia. Compliance, data privacy, GDPR, UK anti-bribery and investigations experience would also be preferred. This is a global role, with a focus on Europe, so foreign language capability will also be a distinct advantage.
