Leading US law firm is looking to hire a new part-time receptionist to work 11am – 7pm on Mondays and Tuesdays on a permanent basis.  Responsibilities will be a mix of working Front of House and also looking after the meeting rooms.  This will include greeting guests in a professional and courteous manner, answering all calls and forwarding as appropriate, administering the computerised meeting room booking system, dealing with directory enquiry calls, booking audio conference calls, logging helpdesk calls, meeting and greeting clients, booking taxis, taking receipts of faxes and couriers, liaising with the firm’s travel company to assist with any last minute flights or hotel bookings, liaising with the catering and facilities departments to ensure processes run smoothly, and any other ad hoc duties when required.  Previous legal reception/switchboard experience is a must as is the understanding of what it takes to help run a busy reception desk that has 5* standards.   Offices are based in the City which includes them being a short walk from Liverpool Street, Fenchurch Street, Cannon Street and Moorgate.
