Housing and Civil Litigation Lawyer

Our client a local authority based in London is seeking a locum Housing and Civil Litigation Lawyer for two months.

The successful Lawyer will be required to carry a caseload of the following matters:

• Civil litigation
• Debt recovery
• Housing- ASB, Disrepair, Possession matters
• Conduct advocacy on behalf of the council and instruct counsel as appropriate

As this is a mixed Litigation role our client is looking for someone with a varied litigation background. You will be required to hit the ground running and pick up a caseload from the outset.  Previous public sector experience would be advantageous.

The position will only run for two months on the basis that this role is to cover a period of sickness.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you are able to hit the ground running and are available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
