International technology company with an established presence in Ireland is looking to hire an additional lawyer to join their innovative in-house legal team based in Dublin. 

Role Profile:


As Legal Counsel, you will work closely with colleagues in Ireland and Overseas to provide accurate legal and risk advice across the Irish business. 

The role will have a focus on commercial and corporate matters (notably commercial contracts and agreements) but also from time to time on: commercial disputes, data protection and procurement. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Advise on regulatory change. 
  • Advise on disputes. 
  • Provide advice on legal issues and developments, legal risk and relevant regulatory issues.
  • Support ongoing data protection improvements across the business. 
  • Instruct outside counsel as required and manage costs effectively.
  • Develop and maintain in depth understanding of the company and its business.

Candidate Requirements

This role may suit a lawyer from either a commercial or dispute resolution background willing to broaden their skillset and take ownership of key commercial negotiations. You should have:

  • 2 to 4+ years’ PQE
  • Admitted to practice in Ireland, UK or other common law or EU jurisdiction. 
  • Written and verbal negotiation experience in relation to either commercial contracts or commercial disputes.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to quickly develop self to understand new areas of business or different regulatory landscapes.
