Privacy Counsel (Fintech)

A growing payments business in central London is looking for a Privacy Counsel to join their legal team on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. This role has potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel you will be responsible for:

- supporting on a GDPR remediation project

- negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers and customers in relation to GDPR

- completing DPIAs and data flows

- being the point of contact for GDPR related queries

To be considered for this position you will ideally have 1-2 years + experience working in a similar capacity with a focus on data privacy. You will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding data protection frameworks. You will be a self-starter, proactive with a commercial approach.
