An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor to join Flint Bishop’s Ashbourne office for a full-time, permanent role focusing on wills, probate, tax and trusts.

Your new role

Headed up by The Legal 500-recommended Claire Rudkin, our Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts team is seeking a proactive, driven and client-focused Solicitor to take the lead on our Private Client services in Ashbourne. The office’s rural location provides an opportunity to build on probate experience, often with an agricultural interest, whilst receiving support from the head office team in Derby.

There are opportunities up to associate level for this position.

Responsibilities of your new role

In your new Private Client Solicitor role, you will handle a caseload of matters including:

• Wills
• Administration of estates
• Lasting powers of attorney
• Court of Protection applications
• Management of attorney and deputyship matters

You will also offer new ideas and have input into the marketing and business development of the team.

About you

To be successful in your application to this Private Client role you must demonstrate:

• Substantial current experience in the above areas
• First-class communication skills enabling you to engage with clients
• Genuine team playing abilities
• Comfortable using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office
• Proven experience of managing your own workload with minimal supervision
